So it's time for your babies very first birthday party

This birthday party is really a special time for you your family and friends to celebrate.

Make sure to only organise a party that won't put you under too much stress. At a year old your baby won't mind wether you have a party or not, so relax and enjoy. A party of no more than an hour to an hour and a half will be fine for babies first birthday party.

Here are some great toddler birthday party ideas for you.

If you want to have a party with other toddlers and children invites why not have a bubble party. Toddlers love bubbles and if adults will blow them they will chase them.

Hire a hall and put out lots of push and pull toys, ride on toys and chairs for the adults.

Have a water party, fill paddling pools with water, provide lots of containers and objects that will float and then just keep a close eye on the toddlers near the water. Your toddlers will love cclambering in and out of the pools and will wear themselves out. have lots of towels handy for drying. This is great for a summer day. If toddlers have no tops on ensure they wear sunscreen.

A play doh party....put out edible playdoh on a low table, provide safe cutters and rolling pins and sit back and watch. Your toddlers can take their creations home.

For girls why not do a teddy bear tea party. get your guests to bring their teddies and have a tea party. You could do this indoors as well as out if the weather is fine.

Don't forget your invitations....Using a recent photograph of your baby on a blank card will do the trick and be a keepsake for those invited.
