Firstly don't bury your head in the sand. If you are getting into financial difficulty you will feel better if you have a shrewd look at your finances.
Be realistic. You may not be able to sort out financial difficulties straight away. Once you can see clearly where your money goes you can choose what to do about it.
Giving 10% to your church or a charity or another cause should be something you think about doing. Though it goes against human instinct to do so when you are short of money evidence shows that whatever you sow will be returned to you. It is returned to you multiplied. It is a Biblical principle that is also shown to work in business models around the world.
