Being frugal moms is becoming something of a way of life in this economical environment.

As parents and carers we need to be good stewards of everything we have. After all we are role models for our little ones, so we need to live as an example, taking care of all we have. In this article we will look at all the things we can do to become frugal.

The first thing to do is to look at it in a positive light, we are not depriving ourselves or our families but are taking positive actions to be good stewards. After all, as frugal moms we want to be able to pass on a good inheritance to our kids.

It is really helpful to have a budget, this way we know exactly what money is coming into the home and what is going out. You may think this is obvious, however, it is easy to miss little amounts of money that are going out which add up. Here are some budgeting tips which will help in this current economic climate.

If you cook from scratch this will save money. Your own cooking will be healthier for your toddler than store bought food. Not only that but you know what goes into food you have made yourself. Cooking from scratch also helps with your frugal grocery shopping
